About
About myenergyusage.ca
We build free, honest energy tools for Canadian homeowners.
Most energy advice online is either too generic to use or written to sell you something. We wanted a place where a homeowner in Moncton, Mississauga or Medicine Hat can enter a few details and get a straight answer: what their home costs to run, where the money goes, and which upgrades would actually pay off.
What makes us different
- Canadian by default. Provincial prices, climate data and rebates, in metric where it matters.
- Honest results. If solar won't pay back on your roof or a heat pump costs more to run than your gas furnace, we say so.
- No sign-up. Every calculator works without an account.
- Transparent maths. Every assumption is published on how we calculate.
How we're funded
When an upgrade clears the bar and you ask for quotes, we connect you with licensed local installers. Installers may pay us a referral fee for that introduction. That fee never changes a calculator result, and we never sell your details to anyone else.
